Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Perfect Pear (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.

Subscriptions and Billing

Perfect Pear requires a paid subscription ("Perfect Pear Plus"), offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly plan that may include a free trial. One subscription covers both paired partners: when either partner subscribes, Plus is unlocked for the couple.

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and billed to your Apple Account at the price shown in the app before purchase. The app itself is licensed under Apple's Standard EULA. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. If you purchase a subscription during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions); deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies — you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies. Unpairing from your partner or deleting your account does not by itself cancel an active subscription or entitle you to a refund.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, calendar events, and answers you share through the Service. By sharing content, you grant us the limited license needed to store and deliver it to your paired partner. You are responsible for the content you share and must not share anything unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Perfect Pear or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.

Availability and Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perfect Pear shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
